Mart Tiismann: CEO
Mart Tiismann began his career with as an engineer with Scania AB, the Swedish maker of heavy duty trucks. After earning his business degree, Tiismann joined Eaton Corporation an American manufacturer of automotive, electrical, and fluid power systems. There he worked with corporate development, acquisitions, in various treasury functions and then became the manager of the Hydraulic Division’s European activities. Later, Tiismann became head of the global product divisions at Esab, the world leader in welding equipment and welding consumables with 6,000 employees at locations in Sweden, Germany, Brazil, China and the United States. Tiismann joined Sidel in October 2005 to set up the Industrial Operations organization, which is responsible for the development and production of the Group’s entire offering. He became the new CEO of the Sidel Group on 1st January 2008.
Tiismann is a mechanical engineer with a degree from the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) and holds an MBA from Purdue (Indiana, US). Born in 1956, of American-Swedish nationality, Tiismann is married with two children.
Paul Holderith: Deputy
Paul Holderith began his professional career in sales and marketing before being appointed to executive management positions in the package industry. He was the director of Aerosol operations at Pechiney and later headed Health & Beauty operations at Carnaud Metalbox. He then became director of the TechPack business unit at Pechiney. He joined Sidel in March 2002 as head of the Blowing & Coating division. In 2004, he took the responsibility for the Sidel Solutions organization (encompassing sales, services, engineering and turnkey lines). Since January 2008, he is the deputy of the CEO.
Holderith has a doctorate in macromolecular chemistry and an MBA from the Insead (European Institute of Business Administration). Born in 1946, a French national, Holderith is married and has one son and two daughters.
Sid Johari: Industrial Operations
After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden, Sid Johari joined global power and automation specialist ABB in 1985, in Sweden. He started as a computer programmer, moved to the R&D department, and then became the head of the theoretical computational group for fluid dynamics. He joined Tetra Pak in 1990 as the head of mechanical design for sealing systems in Tetra Pak’s R&D department. He then spent five years with Tetra Brik in Modena, Italy, where he held a number of posts including director of new product development and director of commercial products. He became the managing director of Tetra Pak Distribution in Sweden, then VP of the strategic emerging business segment and the managing director of Tetra Pak Carton Ambient AB in Lund, Sweden. Johari joined Sidel in 2006 as executive VP of sales for the Asia and Americas regions. In 2007, he took over as executive VP of the Blowing & Coating Division and then became head of Industrial Operations in 2008. Born in 1959, Sid Johari is Swedish. He is married with three children.
Françoise Raoul-Duval: Strategy & Development
After graduating from the School of Management in Lyon, France in 1993, Françoise Raoul-Duval began her career as an auditor with Price Waterhouse. From there she joined Pechiney, carrying out a range of duties in the financial and human resources domains in various countries. In 2001, Françoise Raoul-Duval joined Sidel as a management controller, occupying a series of posts as financial controller and managing numerous Group projects. In 2007, she was appointed Director of Strategy & Development. Born in 1971, Françoise Raoul-Duval is married with three children.
Riccardo Rosselli: CFO
Riccardo Rosselli has a degree in economics from Parma university. He started his career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse in 1988. He made a career shift in 1995 in entering in an Italian industrial group as Head of Finance. He then joined Simonazzi Spa in 1998, first under Sasib as Head of Finance and Administration, then with SIG assuming the key responsibility in Corporate Finance. During the acquisition of Simonazzi, he has played an important role in the integration process. Since July 2006, he has been the CFO of the Sidel Group. Born in 1962 and an Italian national, Rosselli is married and has one son and one daughter.
Roberto Schianchi: Market Operations
After graduating from the Politechnico di Milano (Italy) in mechanical engineering, Roberto Schianchi was project leader for the Formula 1 engine at Ferrari before joining Tetra Pak in 1995. Chiefly based in Modena, Italy, he worked for the Carton Division and spent three years in R&D in Lund, Sweden as manager of aseptic technology. Roberto Schianchi joined Sidel in January 2004 to head the Aseptic Business Unit of the Filling Systems Division in Octeville, France. In 2005, he became head of Sidel's Engineering & Packaging Solutions (EPS) Division based in Parma, Italy. In 2008, he became executive VP of Market Operations. Born in 1962, Italian-born Schianchi is married and has one daughter.
Michel Picandet: Life Cycle Management
Michel Picandet began his career at Sidel in France in 1989, carrying out a range of duties in the industrial organization. He then spent 10 years in the U.S., working in sales and management for North America. He then moved to China in 2004 as head of the North-Asia zone and subsequently created the Asia Pacific Cluster. Since May 2008, he has headed the Life Cycle Management Division which focuses on life cycle solutions for Sidel’s installed base of equipment.
Picandet is a graduate of the University of Clermont-Ferrand. Born in 1967 and a French national, Picandet is married and has one daughter.
