ROBOTIC PALLETISERS

END-OF-LINE SOLUTIONS WITH ADVANCED PRECISION AND FUNCTIONALITY

Robotic palletisers are the most advanced palletising solutions today with multiple applications for liquid packaging. Compact structure, high precision, centralised control and orientation in any direction make these palletisers highly efficient, enable flexible automation and reduce the footprint of the palletising system.

Pal Robo-Kombi™

MULTIFUNCTIONAL END-OF-LINE ROBOT DEVISED SPECIFICALLY FOR LIQUID PACKAGING

Our Pal Robo-Kombi offers great variety of applications. Aside from palletising of bottles and crates, this robot can be equipped to serve many other functions: de-palletisation of kegs, loose bottles and crates, stacking and de-stacking of empty pallets, crating and de-crating, and pads insertion.

Depending on the gripping head, this robotic palletiser handles crates, packs and loose bottles arranged either in complete layers or single rows. The potential output is from 450 cycles/hour for 600 kg at the joint to 550 cycles/hour for 300 kg.

  • Multipurpose end-of-line application

    • Able to replace several equivalent traditional machines - products may be received from different lanes due to 4-axis robotic configuration
    • Different gripping heads of great rigidity for handling a great diversity of bottles and packages, and for pads insertion

  • Easy control and smooth operation

    • Optimised work-cycle by setting precise trajectories and conditions with the help of a dedicated software and a joystick
    • Automatic head change reduces the format changeover times
    • All operations controlled by a single operator

  • Ergonomics and maintenance

    • All operations and main parts accessible at floor level
    • Preparation and maintenance of individual heads off-line without ceasing robot operation due to dedicated tool area
    • Designed for reduced total cost of ownership through optimisation of energy and air consumption, and reduction of maintenance time

Upgrades for additional performance
Sidel's pallet management software Pal Designer™ can be used in combination with Pal Robo-Kombi with a number of specific features:

  • Automatic definition of robot paths according to product, selected pallet pattern and gripping head configuration
  • Consideration of obstacles like fences, frameworks, magazines for collision prevention
  • Anticipation of robot limit errors for new palletising patterns before production launch

Modular layer preparation solutions AxoSmart™ and RoboSmart™ can add flexibility and precision to the Pal Robo-Kombi palletiser. For more information, click here.
