Global expertise, local presence

Sidel has your needs covered and provides maximum responsiveness with nearly 800 technicians worldwide who proudly wear Sidel’s colors. Every day, technicians travel throughout Americas, Europe, Africa, Oceania and Asia to provide the best possible service and respond to emergencies.

These technicians all specialize in certain fields (mechanics, electricity, process and automation), and their product knowledge covers Sidel’s entire portfolio of machines including blow molding, Actis™, Combi, filling, mixing, labeling, conveying, end of line and start of line equipment.


Technical assistance

To increase your line’s availability, technical assistance helps you solve problems that you encounter during your work. Sidel’s 24/7 telephone assistance is based on a simple idea. When Sidel’s offices are closed, you have a phone number that you can call if your customer service representative is not available. You’ll find a Sidel expert on the line who understands your problem and can quickly find the best solution. Depending on your location, the expert can frequently order parts to be shipped in about two hours to make needed equipment repairs. A technical report describing the problems encountered and solutions proposed is subsequently sent to you.


Remote Access ADSL provides real time remote assistance

SIDEL’s global support network is always close at hand to help you maximize production.


With high-speed and high-efficiency technology now available on complete Sidel lines and standalone equipment, Remote Access ADSL offers greater responsiveness and reliability with a broader scope of application.
At your request, a Sidel expert can remotely access online productivity data, work on your machine’s software, provide real time service, or train you directly to perform a task. A valuable networking tool is established between you and Sidel.

(Remote Expert Assistance for Lines) system takes technical assistance to new heights offering maximum responsiveness at lower costs. This system allows a Sidel expert to remotely guide a customer as he makes repairs, performs complex maintenance operations, or engages in training. Using a set of portable equipment that transmits real time audio and visual information, your technician can share exactly what he sees in the work environment with a Sidel expert.


Online services via MySidel

MySidel portal makes your life easier: you can order parts, consult a customized technical library, and get training online. Available everywhere, 24/7, your customized information is accessible on an easy-to-use tool.


The Spares On Line application allows you to:

  • Check parts prices and order spare parts online
  • Perform a real time search for parts availability and check on procurement times
  • Check current order status and consult your parts order history
  • Extract Sidel item codes and quantities already entered into your information system

Your customized documentation is available online in the WebDoc application. With just a few clicks, you can download and consult technical manuals. You can even select part numbers from manuals and insert them directly into Spares On Line.
