The successful merger between Sidel and Simonazzi has given birth to MySidel, the company’s new web portal dedicated to customers. This tool offers access to many online applications designed to make life easier for Sidel Group customers.
Now, using MySidel, customers can order spare parts with just a click of the mouse or consult interactive technical manuals online. The extranet will be adding new functions throughout the year including a virtual communication space for customers to ask technical questions and a “My E-Learning” space for online training using multimedia materials.
More than just a tool for ordering spare parts online
The system allows customers to:
- Order spare parts online
- Check parts prices
- Perform a real time search for parts availability
- Check on procurement times if parts are not in stock

Check current order status
Consult parts order history (past six months online)
- Extract Sidel item codes and quantities already entered into their own information system and import that data into Spares On Line
- Use the WebDoc application to search for bills of materials for their machines, select part numbers from manuals and insert them directly into online orders
This application is already available to all customers directly served by Sidel Octeville, Sidel Inc., Sidel Parma and Sidel Malaysia (expansion planned for coming months).
WebDoc: a customized technical library
The system allows customers to:
- Use one tool to reference and download technical manuals based on their machine fleet
- Go online to consult:
- instruction manuals
- maintenance information
- spare parts documentation
- and electrical and pneumatic diagrams
- Work easily and quickly with online documents thanks to interactive pages
- Access the most accurate and relevant information updated regularly
- Use the WebDoc application to search for bills of materials for their machines, select part numbers from manuals and insert them directly into online orders
If you have Internet access and want to obtain your identification data to use MySidel, it’s simple:
- Contact your customer manager or Sidel parts administrator. He or she will let you know the requirements for using various applications and will ask the MySidel Administration Department to open a new account for you.
- Next, you’ll receive the information you need by mail to connect to the secure portal.
- Simply go to www.sidel.com, and click on “Enter MySidel” to log on.
- Now you can access various applications based on your original request.
If you are already using the @sso portal, you can use the same user name and password to connect to the new portal.
