Mart Tiismann: CEO

Mart Tiismann began his career as an engineer with Scania AB, the Swedish maker of heavy duty trucks. After earning his business degree, Tiismann joined Eaton Corporation an American manufacturer of automotive, electrical, and fluid power systems. There he worked with corporate development, acquisitions, in various treasury functions and then became the manager of the Hydraulic Division’s European activities. Later, Tiismann became head of the global product divisions at Esab, the world leader in welding equipment and welding consumables with 6,000 employees at locations in Sweden, Germany, Brazil, China and the United States. Tiismann joined Sidel in October 2005 to set up the Industrial Operations organization, which is responsible for the development and production of the Group’s entire offering. He became the new CEO of the Sidel Group on 1st January 2008.
Tiismann is a mechanical engineer with a degree from the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm, Sweden) and holds an MBA from Purdue (Indiana, US). Born in 1956, of American-Swedish nationality, Tiismann is married with two children.

Anders Wester: Finance & Strategy

Anders Wester became Sidel's Chief Financial Officer on May 1, 2012, with overall responsibility for Finance & Control, Business Strategy, Business Transformation and IS. Before joining Sidel he spent over 20 years at Tetra Pak. During this time he held several senior positions including Managing Director for Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines in 2009-2012; Vice President for Business Transformation & Strategic Planning in 2006-2009; and various Global Director and Finance Director positions in Europe and North America in 1996-2006, having joined the group as a Trainee & Project Leader in Sweden in 1991.
Anders holds a degree in Business Administration, Economics and Corporate Finance from the University of Lund - School of Economics & Management. He has also completed executive programs at Harvard Business School in the US and IMD in Switzerland. Anders was born in 1964 and is Swedish. He is married with two children.

Peter Logan: Market Operations

Peter has a Degree in Biotechnology from Massey University, New Zealand. His career began as a Project Engineer with Alfa Laval in the UK and until the acquisition of Alfa Laval by Tetra Pak in 1991 he held various engineering and management roles with Alfa Laval in the UK and New Zealand. Subsequently Peter has held various management roles in Tetra Pak with the last 14 years heavily focus on Asia; in particular China, Indonesia and most recently as Managing Director of Tetra Pak in Vietnam. He joined Sidel March 1 2011 as Executive Vice President, Market Operations. Born in 1958 and a New Zealand national. He is married with 4 children.

Sid Johari: Industrial Operations

After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the Lund Institute of Technology in Sweden, Sid Johari joined global power and automation specialist ABB in 1985, in Sweden. He started as a computer programmer, moved to the R&D department, and then became the head of the theoretical computational group for fluid dynamics. He joined Tetra Pak in 1990 as the head of mechanical design for sealing systems in Tetra Pak’s R&D department. He then spent five years with Tetra Brik in Modena, Italy, where he held a number of posts including director of new product development and director of commercial products. He became the managing director of Tetra Pak Distribution in Sweden, then VP of the strategic emerging business segment and the managing director of Tetra Pak Carton Ambient AB in Lund, Sweden. Johari joined Sidel in 2006 as executive VP of sales for the Asia and Americas regions. In 2007, he took over as executive VP of the Blowing & Coating Division and then became head of Industrial Operations in 2008.
Born in 1959, Sid Johari is Swedish. He is married with three children.

Michel Picandet: Life Cycle Management

Michel Picandet began his career at Sidel in France in 1989, carrying out a range of duties in the industrial organization. He then spent 10 years in the U.S., working in sales and management for North America. He then moved to China in 2004 as head of the North-Asia zone and subsequently created the Asia Pacific Cluster. Since May 2008, he has headed the Life Cycle Management Division which focuses on life cycle solutions for Sidel’s installed base of equipment.
Picandet is a graduate of the University of Clermont-Ferrand.
Born in 1967 and a French national, Picandet is married and has one daughter.

Marc Aury: Engineering & Material Handling

Mr. Aury began his professional carrier, with Kronenbourg Brewery France, serving various functions within packaging and brew house.
Later on he joined Gebo, where he was appointed Head of Americas zone, based initially in Montreal, CANADA, and then in Sarasota, USA. In 1997 he became CEO of Gebo, after the acquisition by Sidel Group. Following this assignment, he then held various positions within the Group, first as EVP for the Engineering & TK division, followed by later holding position as EVP for the cluster Americas, based in Atlanta, USA.
Since April 2010, Marc Aury is Executive Vice President for the Business Unit, Engineering & Material Handling (EMH), along with the global responsibility of the Beer Market Segment.
Mr Aury has earned a Master of Science degree in Packaging and Food Processing Engineering from ENSAIA, France, additional to his MSc. degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg.
Born in 1961, M. Aury has dual citizenship (French and Canadian); he is married with one daughter.

Roberto Bettini: Human Resources

Roberto Bettini has degree in economics and specialization in human resources and management. He was VP Human Resources for Unibon Group – Casa Modena, a food company in Modena (Italy), and then for the Comer Group (Italy) in the automotive sector. He has worked for 15 years within Tetra Pak in various HR positions worldwide in both the industrial and corporate sectors. He was VP Human Resources for Tetra Brik Packaging Systems in Modena (Italy), VP Human Resources for Tetra Rex Packaging Systems in Chicago (Illinois, USA), VP Human Resources for Tetra Pak Carton Ambient and e-HR Project Director in Lund (Sweden), VP Human Resources for Tetra Pak South & South East Asia in Bangkok (Thailand), and Head of the Global HR Center of Expertise at Group headquarters in Lausanne (Switzerland). Since January 2009, he has been Sidel Group Human Resources EVP. Born in 1961, Roberto is Italian.

Nicholas Bloch: Communication

Mr. Bloch began his career serving one of Scandinavia’s largest marketing firms gaining extensive experience with numerous international listed blue chip brands. Later he held position as VP Corporate Communication with Leica Geosystems, a global manufacturer of high-precision measurement and surveying instruments, followed by holding similar corporate communication positions, serving Phonak, a world leading provider of hearing healthcare solutions and latest ALSTOM Power, a global manufacturer and supplier of clean energy solutions. Nicholas Bloch joined the Sidel Group as Executive Vice President, Communication, in May 2010.
Nicholas Bloch earned a postgraduate Master of Science degree in communication management from Università della Svizzera Italiana (USI), honoured for academic excellence. He holds a program certificate in advanced strategic management from UCLA, Anderson School of Management. Mr. Bloch is Danish, born in 1971 and married with two children.

Caroline Fellenius-Omnell: Legal

Caroline obtained a masters degree in European Studies at the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, in 1995. After that she practiced as a lawyer for the Swedish law firm Mannheimer Swartling in Brussels and later on in Stockholm. She was admitted to the Swedish Bar Association and the Belgian Bar Association, both in 2000, while practising for the US law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in Brussels. In 2005, Caroline joined Electrolux in Stockholm as Corporate Counsel where she spent four years. She then moved on to Tetra Pak in Paris in 2009 as Cluster Legal Counsel Europe. In January 2011, Caroline joined Sidel as General Counsel. She is Swedish, born in 1968, and married with two children.
