Sidel will be present at the upcoming PlastIndia, one of the largest plastic packaging trade shows in India. The event will take place in New Delhi from February 1st to 6th. Sidel will be presenting a portfolio of products and services designed to match the needs of local players. This includes the “Synergy Combi”, the first linear PET stretch blow molder combined with a linear filler in a single machine that is manufactured in India.
India’s consumption of plastics is estimated to grow from 7.5 million tones today to 15 million tones in 2015, with increased investment in excess of USD 37 billion. The country is also set to become the third largest consumer of plastics in the world. PlastIndia is one of the leading events for the plastics industry for India and the subcontinent region, covering the food, beverages and pharmaceuticals markets.
