Two complete Sidel lines for Neviot

A small country with stiff competition, a strong tradition of CSD consumption and the impact of the global recession all make differentiation vital for mineral water producers  in Israel.  Israeli company Neviot, part of CBC Group, is a leading manufacturer and bottler of mineral water. They have recently invested in two complete lines from Sidel: one line equipped with a Combi for 0.5, 0.75 and 1.5L mineral water bottles, and a hot-fill line for 0.5 and 1.5L flavoured water bottles.



Diversifying production

Neviot's working relationship with Sidel began in 1993, when the company ordered its first SBO 10 blow moulder from Sidel for the production of 0.5L PET bottles. After further steady growth, Neviot invested in a new line again, a Sidel Combi 14.  While carbonated beverages are still the most widely consumed drinks in Israel, the water market is growing steadily. Neviot has benefited from the growth by diversifying its production and targeting several markets: large formats for home or office consumption and on-the-go and family formats (0.5 and 1.5L) which together make up 80% of sales. Particularly with sport caps, the 0.5L format is proving increasingly popular.

To bottle its flavoured waters, the company ordered a complete line which included an SBO14 and Eurostar PN filler, the automated filling, crowning and/or capping machine to bottle its "Neviot+" flavoured water. To measure out the bottle contents, the electro-pneumatic filling valves are equipped with interchangeable level tubes (PN model) and with an electronic level probe (PN-LP model). Through its flexible design, the machine ensures excellent filling of any type of product or container.
