Health Water Bottling installs Sidel’s fastest PET bottling line featuring two Sidel Matrix™ Combis
Complete line to ensure performance
Health Water Bottling (HWB) had previously only purchased standalone equipment ranging from blowing machines to fillers and others. However, different lines from different suppliers did not optimise overall line efficiency in terms of energy cost and wastage. HWB turned to Sidel as a reliable solutions provider for a complete PET line. The line comprises two Sidel Matrix™ Combis which as well as boasting one of the fastest turnover rates from Sidel, offers HWB greater design freedom in terms of bottle shape and the ability to package lightweight bottles at high speeds.
A fast-growing market
HWB is one of the largest and oldest water bottling companies in Saudi Arabia, HWB markets and distributes the Nova brand ofbottled waterand other beverages. Attributed to the country's growing population, demand for both still and carbonated bottled water in Saudi Arabia has recently risen dramatically. In light of this demand, the output rate of bottles of Nova water is crucial.

"We have been using Sidel's equipment in our lines for many years now and have consistently been satisfied with their service and after-sales support" said Harry Nowers, Plant Manager at Health Water Bottling Company. With the new technologically advanced line, HWB will be producing PET water bottles in 330ml and 600ml formats at a speed of134,000 bottles per hour by February 2015. Because of the neck-handling and positive transfer of bottles between blow moulding and filling, the Sidel Matrix™ Combi is not bound by the limitations imposed by air conveyors.
